What is a Contributing License Agreement
A Contributing License Agreement (CLA) is a legal document that defines the terms under which intellectual property has been contributed to a company/project, typically software under an open source license. In our case, the intellectual property is the content that you post on TheModdersDen. The CLA is a legally binding document that protects both you and TheModdersDen.
Why do I need to sign a Contributing License Agreement
You need to sign a Contributing License Agreement to protect both you and TheModdersDen. The CLA protects you by ensuring that you retain ownership of your content. The CLA protects TheModdersDen by ensuring that we have the right to use your content on our site.
What happens if I don’t sign a Contributing License Agreement
If you do not sign a Contributing License Agreement, you will not be able to post content on TheModdersDen’s GitHub repo, or the various places which are bound to this agreement. You will still be able to view content, but you will not be able to post, upload, or modify content in any way, shape, or form.
What happens if I violate the Contributing License Agreement
If you violate the Contributing License Agreement, you will be banned from TheModdersDen’s Blog and any subsequent pages or project repos that are deemed affected. Depending on the severity of the violation, you may be reported to the proper authorities. You may or may not be able to view content and interact with the community, depending on the severity of the violation. You will not be able to post, upload, or modify content in any way, shape, or form.
What happens if I want to revoke my Contributing License Agreement
If you want to revoke your Contributing License Agreement, you will need to contact the site staff or administrator. The site staff or administrator will then take the appropriate action from there. You will not be able to post, upload, or modify content in any way, shape, or form.
Will the Contributing License Agreement change
The Contributing License Agreement may change at any time. If the Contributing License Agreement changes, you will be notified via email. You will be required to sign the new Contributing License Agreement before you will be able to post, upload, or modify content in any way, shape, or form.
